ContourHD1080p has five video resolutions you can choose from to remember your HD adventures. 

Full HD - 1080p (1920x1080) Films using a 110° wide angle lens @ 30 frames per second in 16.9 widescreen aspect ratio. Film time is 15min per GB. Example, using a 16gb SD card will give you 4hrs continous film time.

Tall HD - 960p (1280x960) Films using 135° wide angle lens @ 30 frames per second in 4x3 aspect ratio. Film time is 15min per GB. Example, using a 16gb Sd card will give you 4hrs continous film time.

Action HD - 720p (1280x720) Films using a 135° wide angle lens @ 60  frames per second in 16.9 wide screen aspect ratio. Film time is 15min per GB. Example, using a 16gb SD card gives you 4 hrs film time.

Original HD - 720p (1280x720) Films using 135° wide angle lens @ 30frames per second in 16.9 wide screen aspect ratio. Film time is 30min per GB. Example using a 16gb SD card gives you 8hrs film time.

Fast SD - WVGA (848x480) films using a 110° wide angle lens @60 frames per second in 16.9 wide screen aspect ratio. Film time is 60min per GB. using a 16gb SD card gives you 16hrs film time 

ContourHD1080p gives you choices. Use the Easy Edit software to dial in your contrast (high, med or low), exposure (-4 to +4), metering (spot, center, avg), and the sensitivity of the microphone. ContourHD1080p is now the world’s most configurable HD wearable camcorder.

We believe video from within the action is better with sound! The ContourHD microphone does its best to keep the wind noise to a minimum while keeping the sounds of the ride rich. Configure the microphone on your ContourHD1080p camera to the action sounds you want. 

One Button Record

ContourHD’s operations couldn’t be simpler. Slide the record switch forward to record and slide it back to stop. Do you need silent mode (no beeps)? We have that option too.

Dual Laser Alignment

Have you ever seen a camera with lasers? ContourHD uses two of them and a 180° rotating lens to ensure you line up the shot every time. Turn on the lasers and rotate the lens until they are horizontal. Congratulations, you just lined up your shot.

Answer: Contour HD 1080 uses the H.264 video codec,AAC audio compression and a .mov file type. Your videos will be accepted by almost all HD video editing programs and players. H.264 has become a standard for video compression and by using H.264 we think your videos will be far more user friendly as well as deliver the highest quality video with the smallest file sizes.
