Sena SR10 Bluetooth Hub

The much anticipated SR10 has arrived and WOW has made a great product (the SMH10 ) even better. Being a dirtbike rider I was eagerly awaiting the SR10, I was already using the SMH10 for offroad riding with good results but as Bluetooth is limited to line of sight the improvement with the SR10 was always going to be massive.
So what is this SR10 Thing, The best way to describe it is a hub or gateway allowing non bluetooth devices to communicate with the SMH10 Bluetooth Headset. So now you can connect a TWO WAY RADIO UHF / VHF and have it communicate wirelessly to your SMH10.
This allows so many great things to happen
1. Massive increase in range depending on what type of two way you are running, the SMH10 has a 900 mtr range standard Using a good quality 5w two way you can get up to 10km
2. You can now communicate with large groups of riders only limited by the number of units you have, If you had 10 riders all with a SMH10 paired with there own SR10 and all on the same channel you will have open communication between everyone how good is that.
3. When the SMH10 is connected to The SR10 you can still maintain normal intercom between the paired bluetooth units so if you have say 5 units running with the SR10 connected to a two way radio and you wish to talk privately to your pillion who you have paired your SMH10 you can do this with out the others hearing your conversation.
4. The SR10 unit also gives you the ability to connect other non bluetooth devices such as GPS and Radar Detectors and have them communicate wirelessly to the SMH10 Bluetooth Headset via the two 3.5mm Aux jacks
When ordering your SR10 please remember to choose the appropriate cable to connect your Two Way radio with the SR10 you will find these listed under accesories
